On Saturday May 12, 2007, the Circassian Education Foundation held a career counseling night for high school and college students and their families. Presentations and discussions included careers in medicine, law, pharmaceuticals, finance and entrepreneurship.
On Sunday November 19, 2006, scholarships were awarded to 38 students at the second annual scholarship awards & fundraising dinner of the Circassian Education Foundation. . For further details see: [link to Past Events page]

In April 2006, the Circassian Education Foundation was granted 501 c 3 tax exempt status. This is an important milestone for the Foundation and its supporter. Charitable donation may now be tax deductible.
On Saturday November 12, 2005, scholarships were awarded to 17 students at the first annual scholarship awards & fundraising dinner of the Circassian Education Foundation. The president of William Paterson University Dr. Arnold Speert was the honor guest. For further details see: [link to Past Events page]
On October 2, 2005, the Circassian Education Foundation announced the scholarship awards for the academic years 2005-2006. Seventeen students would be awarded a scholarship. The students were pursuing their higher education in various colleges and universities in the New Jersey and New York area. The students would be acknowledged and the awards will be distributed at the scholarship awards and fund raising dinner planned at 7:00PM, November 12, 2005. The dinner would take place at the Circassian Benevolent Association 383 Oldham Road, Wayne, NJ 07470.
On Saturday April 30, 2005, Dr. Ridwan Shabsigh made a presentation at the general membership meeting of the Circassian Benevolent Association explaining the mission of the Circassian Education Foundation and its scholarship program and Circassian dictionary project. The president of the Circassian Benevolent Association Mr. Mohammed Kardan, and the vice president Mr. Khaldoun Hilmi gave a strong endorsement to the Circassian Education Foundation and its projects. Many other individuals expressed similar support as well.
On Sunday April 17, 2005, members of the Board of Directors of the Circassian Education Foundation, including Dr. Ridwan Shabsigh, Dr. Ziwar Hajo, Mr. Farouk Kozrosh and Mr. Kahtan Barsbay, visited the Circassian Benevolent Association at 383 Oldham Road, Wayne, New Jersey. A meeting was held with the Executive Board of the Circassian Benevolent Association. The mission and projects of the Circassian Education Foundation were presented to and discussed. The desire and intent for collaboration was emphasized by both sides, for the benefit of the community, the children and the youth. The Circassian Education Foundation wishes to present the warmest appreciation to the Circassian Benevolent Association for the kind welcome, significant support and eagerness for collaboration.
